WYNBERG GIRLS' JUNIOR SCHOOL
Wynberg Girls’ Junior School partnered with Roomtech for the delivery of a 3D virtual solution during 2021. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, no visitors were allowed on site until further notice and this meant that physical tours of our facilities were no longer available to prospective parents and learners. Roomtech scanned our entire campus which adds value to Wynberg Girls’ Junior School in the following departments:
MARKETING
The 3D virtual tour can be accessed remotely which enables prospective parents and learners to tour our facilities remotely. We now have a 24/7 “open day” and parents and learners are able to get a taste of our world-class facilities when choosing a school.
The technology also allows us to continuously customize the content through the use of Mattertags. We can add video, photo or text where needed in order to customize the user experience. Our tour has gained more than 1000 unique visits over the last 6 months.
OPERATIONS / RISK
Using the 3D Model WGJS has the ability to do remote capacity planning, or do strategic class assignments without having to walk through the school. The technology enables decision makers and stakeholders such as contractors, management and staff to make informed decisions quicker and remotely. The model also allows for us to do Health and Safety planning, by tagging fire extinguishers, water points and emergency exits.
